These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Reputation Shield (the "Service"), operated by Reputation Shield ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Reputation Shield helps dental and medical practices draft privacy-safe responses to online reviews and collect private patient feedback before it becomes a public review. The Service uses third-party AI providers to help generate draft text, which you review and approve before use.

2. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Free trials, where offered, convert automatically to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through the "Manage billing" option in your dashboard.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to submit false, defamatory, or misleading content, to violate any applicable healthcare privacy law (including HIPAA), or to interfere with the operation of the Service.

5. Patient Information

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you submit to the Service complies with applicable privacy laws and does not include protected health information beyond what is necessary and permitted.

6. AI-Generated Content

Draft responses generated by the Service are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any content before it is published or sent. We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated drafts.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reputation Shield shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
